Summer Camps take our Artist Campers on a week-long journey into the wonderment of art play with a purpose. What does a student take away from a week of making art? Exploring different arts materials, with lots of concentrated time to finish beautiful projects, allow feelings of success to truly blossom. Loads of creative outside-the-box problem solving happens here. For ages 6+. For kids ages 4-6, click here for Creative Kids Camps. If you want to STAY ALL DAY, let us know and we'll set you up with a supervised lunch hour between camps! Call 214-827-1222 for details. If you see a camp you like, hit 'SIGN UP' or create a 'SAVE FOR LATER' list. Either way, you can always change your mind before PayPal time. Drawing CampClassic Drawing and Painting instruction is for young artists interested in building their skills upon traditional basics with FUN materials added for sustaining connection to the process. Even the youngest students can explore the challenges of figure drawing, composition, simple perspective and expressive mark making while drawing from observation. Students work with pencil, pen and ink, and charcoal while engaging their imaginations, gaining inspiration and techniques from the Masters, and learning to See as the Artist Sees. Projects include: |

Wheel CampThis class is fantastic for kids for so many reasons. Developmentally, working in clay assists hand-eye coordination. Give a kid a lump of clay and their brain slows down to allow inspiration to come out. Our projects are designed with fun and learning in mind. Students enjoy a tea party with their wares the last day. (If by chance there is work still to be picked up after the class, check for it outside in our clay garden). 1/2 Day ($195) and Full Day ($395) |

Animation CampCreate a stop motion animated film with Legos! Make awesome characters, props and backgrounds of your own design. Create your own script and storyboard. Legos provided. Receive DVD or download info of entire class' work at end of class. Projects include: |
